How it works

You own the integration from first event to launch. You build against your real product while your account is still in pre-launch, verify as you go, and launch the program yourself when everything is in place.

Connect the MCP server

Point your AI coding tool at Cello’s MCP server first. It has live access to these docs and to your integration’s health, so it both builds most of the integration for you and tells you what is still missing.

Build on production, in testing mode

You don’t need a sandbox. Your account stays in pre-launch phase while you integrate: events are recorded as test data, and nothing is paid out or sent to your referrers.

Watch the steps verify themselves

Once your signup and purchase event sources are set, each integration step flips to verified on its own as Cello sees it working in your product. The few Cello can’t detect, you tick off yourself.

Verify with the testbook

Work through the pre-launch testbook while you build, and again at the end.

Launch your program

When every step is complete, you launch. Pre-launch ends, and from then on referrals are processed and paid out.
